![]() ![]() ![]() As it is now the leaf would have so many details that in being cut out by the machine, it would be in shreds following each vein in the leaf as a cutting line because the lines show up doubled like this everywhere ( ll ). I want the outline of the drawing of the leaf, so the machine will cut a leaf and maybe a few veins within the leaf. How do I remove whats inside the drawing? If this helps, imagine the drawing of a leaf. Let me explain better.I want a thick black line drawing, so the machine has a simple design to follow in cutting.the trace bitmap makes too detailed of a drawing. As it now stands, the drawing has so many extra lines in it that the machine basically would make the design but cut it into shreds trying to follow all those lines. I want a solid black line drawing so the machine will cut the swirlly design and be usable. I take the jpeg file, open in inkscape, click on the image and go into trace bitmap, which makes a hazy ink drawing type of look, which is halfway to where I want it to be. I don't know what I'm doing, so I am just learning by trial and error as most tutorials are so about code that I don't understand what they are saying. I am trying to convert a photo of a wrought iron design, which is already black/grey/and white, into a svg file I can use in SCAL and cut on my cricut machine. ![]() Hi: I am very new to svg files so please reply so a begginner can understand :) ![]()
